An accident took away her voice. In spite of all efforts, her parents finally had to marry her off to a deaf man.

She was skeptical when the doctor informed that their baby was normal.
She made hidden noises to see her respond.
At about one year, she heard Mama.

She was on cloud nine.

  5. The parents were deaf and dumb and the ones making all d noises on their daughter’s birth ( Ms Koirala ) in d movie ..so yeah similar and yet sort of different ..if its any consolation 😛

  6. Okay it is similar to khamoshi.. but it dint strike me first.. i was thinking of this english movie where the parents convince the child that she is dumb too.. for they both are deaf n dumb.. dont remember the name of the movie now.. ( was looking at that kinda twist.. but yours was simpler)
