Where do I go?

Where do I go? (Day 6 on the tour)

The BSA Tour Of Nilgiris moves through concrete jungles, real jungles, villages and other remote places, during its course. Today we are moving from the state of Kerela to Tamil Nadu. With such a route plan, it is easy for a BSA TFN rider to miss a junction, an unsuspecting turn and land up in No Man’s Land. But it hardly happened on this tour.

Do you see the white arrow in the adjacent snap?

The support team’s job starts much before the riders begin their ride for the day. A member of the support crew armed with white paint and brush precedes the riders, marking arrows on the road at junctions which are confusing and easy to miss. The riders have been applauding the efforts and find it very easy to maneuver, even when they are riding alone.

This is what Suma Rao , a rider on the tour had to say – It was excellently done. I did not have to ask anybody for directions otherwise the men on the way tend to create problems. Sowmya(a support team member) has done a fabulous job!
