Sitting in her cabin staring at the monitor, she drooped low, closed her eyes and pondered. Life hadn’t turned out quite the way she wanted it to be. All hard work was going down the drain, she thought. She did not know who to blame. She sobbed.

The economic downturn had killed her appraisal dreams!
