Sunrise at Nandi Hill

with 7 comments

History repeats itself … well at least to some extent!

Dec ’07 was when the roadies from ‘Big O’ hit the road together for the first time. It took nearly a year for them to get their act together for the second group ride πŸ˜›

Although ‘Nandi Hills’ is like a stones throw away from Bangalore and I have been there umpteen times but it was long that I had seen the sun rise (You see … excuses to hit the road πŸ™‚ ) so I joined the bandwagon.

For the statistically inclined – there were 6 bikes and 8 people, finally.

And although we started later than decided (My belief in IST – ‘Indian Stretchable Time’ keeps getting stronger), we were on the hillock just in time to witness the sunrise.

Some ‘awesome chai’ and bread omlette kept the tummy happy but I was in the mood for Idli Dosa. Any ride in south India is not complete without this delicacy.

Sadly it was nowhere to be found until we stopped at Anand Adyar Bhavan near Mekhri Circle – before bidding, each other, adieu for the day.

  2. Definitely. I will rate this joke only next to Einstein’s miscalculation for paying bus fare.

    15 X 6 = 90
    6 X 3 = 12
    90+12 = 126

This is after working out on pen and paper πŸ˜‰

  3. Krishna, πŸ˜€ Amiya has done the needful!

Amiya, Thanks for reminding. I guess this is futuristic Maths. Probably inflation has been taken care of in the calculations πŸ˜›
