The Cleansing Act
When she slept with her boyfriends friend, she woke up with guilt. In the coming days, she continued to self-condemn herself. At work, the sales of her department dipped. She believed it was the Almighty meting out justice to her. She traveled hundreds of kilometers, took a dip in Papanashini despite the warning levels.
She drowned.
